Not really going to be filled with Quidditch plays, but I figured that if I wrote that on the cover, everyone would stay out of my journal. And not make fun of me for writing one.
My name is Oliver James Wood, and I'm a Quidditch Addict. So, given my addiction, I would think they'd just roll their eyes at another book filled with plays. But this one is different. This one is going to be filled with my other thoughts and passions.
Like Vela. Bloody Hell, where do I start with my Firecracker? I call her that because she's like a stick of dynamite (Especially, you know where). I love her for it more and more, every day. Especially when she doesn't toss me out of the bedroom, and make me sleep on the couch.
My job: It's new, but also something that I'm really familiar with. And V is so wonderful to put up with me through all of this, and for putting up with me for getting this position. I was the Gryffindor Quidditch captain, and now am the Quidditch Coach/Flight Instructor for the entire school. Hell, I figured if the children were going to be going to school, and I needed a more permanant job, what better idea than for me to teach at Hogwarts? I have to wonder if Phoenix, Haydn and Skylar will follow in my footsteps, or their mother's.
If Skylar follows in her mother's footsteps, I won't be suprised, as V is so very talented, and for her to pass it on to our daughter, it would be amazing, since the boys don't seem to be showing much interest in music. But I'm thinking that may not be the case. Had a nicked snitch in the nursery the other day, and Sky's eyes were LOCKED on it. Everywhere it went, she tracked it. The boys didn't do that when they were little. But then, they don't seem to show much of a feeling toward Quidditch, either, so I'm thinking that the two of them may be finding their own way when they grow up, which is as it should be.
Speaking of the children, I hear the boys fighting in the other room, I better see what the problem is before they wake their sister.
